A 6-year-old Florida girl is in critical condition after what is believed to be yet another shooting accident involving children. Police say the girl was shot in the chest by her 13-year-old brother while the two were home alone Saturday night, NBC reports. Homicide detectives have interviewed the boy, who drew pictures to explain how a gun he found accidentally discharged while he was playing a game with his sister.

"The little boy just sat there rocking back and forth," a neighbor tells the Miami Herald. "It’s just so devastating. They had just moved in two weeks ago." It's not clear whether charges will be filed, although leaving a loaded gun "within the reach or easy access of a minor" is a felony under Florida law if it results in injury or death. Last week, a 5-year-old boy in Kentucky shot and killed his 2-year-old sister with a rifle he had received as a gift. (More shooting stories.)
