Twenty-four years after his first novel, A Time to Kill, was released, John Grisham is writing a sequel. Sycamore Row, out October 22, will focus on the original book's main character, Jake Brigance, but publisher Knopf Doubleday hasn't released any other details. It does, however, promise much "intrigue, suspense, and plot twists," according to the Hollywood Reporter. A Time to Kill was made into a movie in 1996, and it became the second most successful of the 10 movies made from Grisham's books, grossing $108 million. (More John Grisham stories.)
