"Siri, are you worried about the debut of Google Now for iOS?" Reply: "We were talking about you, not me." And we won't be talking about her for the remainder of this story, at least. Google today ventures further into Apple territory with the release of Google Now for iOS. The iPhone and iPad version are integrated into the Google Search app, and it does things like remind you about your appointments. Reports are emphasizing the able job Google did in keeping this version similar to the Android one, with the Verge deeming the "look and feel of the app ... virtually identical on both platforms, a testament to Google's newfound ability to make well-designed apps on iOS." It notes that 22 of the 29 cards currently available on Android made the journey to iOS (Fandango and airline boarding passes are among those that didn't).
