John Kerry came out swinging today against voter suppression, insisting on Talking Points Memo Cafe that all Democrats reject a lawsuit that would block special caucus sites for Las Vegas Strip workers. The Obama booster didn’t call out the Clinton campaign by name, but said “certain tactics make victory … hollow.” Kerry says the right to vote is “a matter of principle.”

The Las Vegas Sun reports tomorrow’s ruling could see the court throwing out the challenge simply because the plaintiffs delayed taking action. The suit’s teachers-union backers maintain they recently learned the rules, though they’ve been in place since March. A professor notes the court is probably predisposed to toss the case anyway, as law “gives considerable deference” to political parties. (More Nevada primary stories.)
