Joe Flacco, method actor? The Baltimore Ravens quarterback has agreed to play late football great Johnny Unitas in the upcoming film Unitas We Stand, reports the Baltimore Sun. Flacco will appear in the closing scenes showing the Colts' 1958 championship victory. "A lot of the way Joe plays and his demeanor reminds me a lot of my dad," says Joe Unitas, Johnny's son and the producer and co-writer of the film. "He's not a rah-rah guy. He throws a touchdown and maybe there's a little fist pump." The movie's release is planned to coincide with the 2014 Super Bowl. (More Johnny Unitas stories.)
