So a friend invites you to a picnic via Facebook, but you just can't be bothered to click over to another site to see what the weather will be like? Well, the social network is now saving you that step (and trying to make sure you stay on Facebook even longer). As of today, event pages—as well as some pages for public places, like parks and cities— will include weather forecasts, TechCrunch reports. It notes that the feature is only on pages where the information makes sense (i.e., not on your News Feed). Weather Underground is providing the data, and there will be an option to click over to the site if you need further info. (More Facebook stories.)
