Considering they were playing their third game in four nights and the Washington Capitals had played once in a week, one might think Philadelphia would struggle - and they  did early on. But the Flyers came around quickly, found their scoring touch, and won the game 6-4. Mike Knuble led the attack with two goals; Kimmo Timonen added three points.

"They came out a rested team....and overwhelmed us," said Knuble, who started the turnaround with his goals in the first period. New $124 million man Alex Ovechkin scored his 33rd goal of the season and added an assist for Washington. Goalie Olaf Kolzig was pulled by Caps coach Bruce Boudreau after giving up four goals on 16 shots. (More Philadelphia Flyers stories.)
