Rip Hamilton missed a buzzer beater at the end of regulation in last night's Pistons-Bobcats game, but he redeemed himself by sinking the winning bucket in overtime. Chauncey Billups contributed 27 points to Detroit's 103-100 victory, with Gerald Wallace putting up 26 for Charlotte, the Detroit Free Press reports.  Elsewhere on the court:

  • Milwaukee led 68-61 at the half, but the return of Steve Nash and Shawn Marion drove the Suns on to a 122-114 victory and left the Bucks with their 20th straight loss at Phoenix.
  • Al Jefferson's 24 points and a slim halftime lead weren't enough to help Minnesota fend off San Antonio; the Spurs eventually took the game 105-88.
