No. 5 UCLA showed No. 4 Washington State that it has a way to go before it is the Big Dog in the Pac-10. The Bruins, led by Kevin Love's eighth double-double, beat the Cougars 81-74 yesterday, reports AP. UCLA (16-1, 4-0 Pac-10) knocked WSU (14-1, 2-1) from the unbeaten ranks.

Love had 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Bruins won their 50th out of 51 games against the Cougars at Pauley Pavilion. Darren Collison had 18 points for UCLA, which has won nine straight. Derrick Low led Wazzou with 24 points and keyed a wild 3-pointer barrage in the final 5:48. The Cougars hit nine, with Low getting five. (More UCLA Bruins stories.)
