Top Rudy Giuliani staffers are working without pay this month, an aide to hizzoner tells Politico. After weeks of rumors that donations were drying up, the campaign manager and other high-ranking advisers either volunteered to work free or were asked to forgo wages so that all resources could be put towards a massive Florida ad buy.

Giuliani must make his mark in delegate-rich Florida on Jan. 29, but that's an expensive proposition: Heavy coverage of the major markets costs $1 million a week. Politico's source denies that the campaign—which has raised more money than any other GOP candidate's—is broke. But poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire seem to have slowed the flow of donations.
