Adam Levine hosted Saturday Night Live last night, ripping his shirt off in an opening monologue that riffed on his gig on The Voice, but more notably teaming up with SNL alum Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake in an epic digital short, YOLO. As Mashable notes, the music video is a rather "hypochondriac spin" on Drake's "you only live once" catchphrase, with lyrics like: "Don't go to loud clubs because it's bad for your ears. Your friends will all be sorry when they can't hear. Stay the hell away from drugs because they're not legal. Bury all your money in the backyard like a beagle." Over at Huffington Post, Mike Ryan has his SNL scorecard, which says that while "Levine certainly didn't phone it in, this just really didn't work out." (More Adam Levine stories.)
