The New Mexico teenager accused of killing his parents and three siblings planned to keep killing until police shot him dead, authorities believe. Nehemiah Griego, 15, told police that he put several loaded weapons, including an AR-15 assault rife, into the family van with the intention of driving to the local Walmart and shooting people at random, the Albuquerque Journal reports.

But Griego called a friend first, who talked him into meeting at the church where his father had been a pastor. Griego has told authorities that he was annoyed with his mother and had been having homicidal and suicidal thoughts, the AP reports. A records check found that the teen had never been in trouble with the law and no family trouble had been reported. (More New Mexico stories.)
