Robert Gleason became the first inmate executed in the US this year when he got his wish of electrocution in Virginia Wednesday night. Gleason, 42, was a convicted murderer who subsequently killed two inmates in prison and charmingly vowed to continue killing until he was put to death, reports Reuters. The state allows inmates to choose the method, and Gleason made the rare pick of the electric chair. His last words were "pog mo thoin"—an Irish phrase that means "kiss my ass."
