Lance Armstrong gave an emotional apology to Livestrong staff today before heading off to his interview with Oprah Winfrey, reports ABC News. His "sincere and heartfelt apology" left some of the 100 Livestrong Foundation staffers in tears at their Austin, Texas, headquarters, said a spokeswoman. She refused to say whether Armstrong copped to doping, but said the disgraced cyclist "took responsibility" for the problems he had brought the foundation. An insider tells the AP that he made no direct confession, but did choke up during the session and told them, "I'm sorry." (More Lance Armstrong stories.)
