Hillary Clinton is out of the hospital after treatment for a blood clot in her head, says the State Department. Clinton left New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she was admitted on Sunday for treatment, reports CNN. "Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery," said a spokesman. He added that "she's eager to get back to the office," but didn't specify when that would happen.

Earlier today, Clinton left the hospital's main building briefly in a van, prompting a flurry of reports that she had been discharged; she apparently was taken elsewhere in the hospital complex, however, and returned soon after. Before that, another spokesperson issued a positive report, saying Clinton had been working from her hospital room, reports AP. "She's been quite active on the phone with all of us," she said.
