Bhutto's Death Her Own Fault: Musharraf

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has absolved his own government—and everyone else—of culpability in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, telling "60 Minutes" that she alone was to blame for her death. "For standing up outside the car, I think it was she to blame alone—nobody else. Responsibility is hers," he said in an interview aired last night.

Musharraf acknowledged that the former prime minister may have been shot, despite earlier denials from his government and assertions that she died after hitting her head on a roof latch, reports CNN. He denied any lack of security in her death, saying she "was given more security than any other person." He also said there is no specific hunt on for Osama bin Laden—"There is no proof whatsoever that he's here.
