Lamar Odom's flagrant foul on Boston's Ray Allen Sunday cost the forward $120,441 and the Los Angeles Lakers one of their starting players for one game, reports the Los Angeles Times. Odom fouled Allen with 2:57 left in the Lakers 110-91 loss. "I don't know what Odom was thinking," Allen said. "I got the rebound and he tackled me."

Odom, who is averaging 14.1 points per game and 8.9 rebounds, was suspended by the NBA and will sit out Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. "We don't think he would do anything to ever intentionally harm another player. We're going to be missing one of our best players for Friday's game,'' Lakers spokesman John Black said.
