It may have been Eric McGowen's last taste of freedom: The 20-year-old skipped out during a break in court last month before his guilty verdict and 99-year sentence were read. Police are making sure to point out that they caught McGowen in an apartment while he was sitting on the toilet. Relatives may face charges for harboring a fugitive, notes ABC affiliate KTRK-TV. McGowen was one of 20 males charged in the brutal sexual assaults, which were videotaped via cell phone by the assailants. He is the only one to go to trial so far; others have either pleaded guilty or still have cases pending. Read These Next Salesforce CEO's ICE joke leaves employees fuming.
