Apple Goes After ... Polish Grocery Site
In this Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 file photo and Apple logo is seen during an announcement at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.   (AP Photo/Paul Sakuma, file)

Apple is not happy with A.pl, a Polish grocery website that, it says, is using a similar-sounding name and a similar-looking logo to sell, presumably, fruit and vegetables. At the moment, A.pl looks nothing like Apple.com and simply resembles … a Polish grocery website. But that could be because the site has stopped using the logo in question, Reuters reports. Apple has filed a patent complaint against the website, but the site's CEO calls the complaint "ludicrous." (More A.pl stories.)
