A heavily armed man loaded with newspaper clippings about Colorado's Dark Knight massacre has been busted while speeding down a Maine highway. He boasted to cops he had just attended a showing of the Batman film packing a loaded gun—and was on his way to New Hampshire to shoot a former boss, said police. Timothy Courtois, 49, was driving 112mph on the Maine Turnpike with an AK-47 assault weapon, four handguns, and several boxes of ammo when he was nabbed, said a state police spokesman. Cops searched his Biddeford home and found a machine gun, several additional guns, and thousands of rounds of ammunition, authorities reported. "We don't know what his true intentions were" at the movie theater, the police spokesman told the Bangor Daily News. The FBI and the ATF are aiding in the investigation.

In yet another incident linked to last week's shooting rampage, a man has been arrested and charged with making criminal threats at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises at a southern California movie theater. Clark Tabor, 52, became agitated when the movie was delayed, and began shouting: "I should go off like in Colorado," and "Does anybody have a gun?" police told AP. He was busted by a theater security guard. Tabor was toting a backpack, but was not carrying a weapon, police said. (Read more Dark Night Rises massacre stories.)
