Sleeping in separate beds might seem like a sign of impending divorce, but many celebrities have done so to improve their rest—or even their sex lives, the Huffington Post reports:

  • Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter: Not only do they sleep in separate beds, but those beds are in separate houses. Apparently Burton snores, and also tends to pace if he can't sleep.

  • Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett: As O'Neal recounted in his memoir about life with the late Fawcett, they started sleeping separately when son Redmond started toddling into their room at night, but ended up enjoying the privacy and even got adjoining rooms at hotels.
  • Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick: Their toddler also keeps them from sharing a bed.
