Deputies Find Dead Body in Mountain Bunker
A sign warning of murder suspect Peter Alex Keller is seen several miles from where a gun-toting survivalist is suspected of killing his wife and daughter, Friday, April 27, 2012, North Bend, Wash.   (Elaine Thompson)

Authorities in Washington state say they've found a body in an elaborate bunker they had surrounded in the Cascade Mountains, and it appears to be that of a man wanted for killing his wife and teenage daughter last weekend. The King County Sheriff's Office sent word via Twitter today that they'd found the body, nearly 23 hours after they first located the structure carved into the side of Rattlesnake Ridge east of Seattle.

Sheriff's Sgt. Katie Larson says a tactical team used explosives to breach the top of the bunker, and when they looked inside they found a man who appeared to be 41-year-old Peter Keller dead of a self-inflicted gunshot. Keller had not been seen since the killings at his home. (More fugitive stories.)
