The Obama campaign is going out of its way to wish Mitt Romney a very happy anniversary today, on the sixth anniversary of RomneyCare. The new video features architects of Romney's Massachusetts health reform bill pointing out the similarities between RomneyCare and ObamaCare, with one even saying that the "core" of Obama's Affordable Care Act is "identical" to RomneyCare, a "national version of that law," CNN reports.
"People have him recorded as promoting Massachusetts health reform, promoting it as a national model. And now he is saying he wants to tear down the very model he was promoting," says another person who worked on Romney's bill. The video also points out how Romney saw the law as his ticket to national glory, and features poignant footage of the first person to enroll in Massachusetts' "core health plan under RomneyCare" wondering, "Don't you remember my story?"
