Divorcees looking for a little advice (or the company of formerly married peeps) are heading over to the so-called divorce expo in New York today, the New York Times reports. “We’re putting a positive face on divorce,” says Francine Baras, co-founder of Start Over Smart—which costs $75 and up at the Metropolitan Pavilion this weekend. "Although it’s difficult and a big transition for most people, there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is a post-divorce life.”

What can visitors expect? Those already on the dating trail can hear advice from the author of "Investidate: How to Investigate Your Date." Married folk who are considering divorce can attend talks by matrimonial law experts. And divorcees seeking a nip or a tuck can pick up tips from plastic surgeons. Tonight, a dating coach will be on hand: “I’m telling them they do not have a scarlet letter D on their forehead,” she says. "The people they’re dating don’t see it that way. Lose that kind of insecurity before you even step back in.” (More divorce stories.)
