Two gunmen carjacked Atlanta Hawks forward Shelden Williams outside his barbershop in Atlanta last night and were later arrested when they tried another burglary, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Williams was unhurt and played two minutes in last night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats. "It's been a long day, but I'm fine," he told teammates.

Williams' coach, Mike Woodson, lamented how times have changed for high-profile athletes—after a recent spate of attacks including the murder of football star Sean Taylor and a shooting incident involving basketball player Jamaal Tinsley. "I never worried about anybody doing anything to me" when playing in the NBA, Woodson said. "It's a shame you can't even go to the grocery store." (More Shelden Williams stories.)
