He's baaaack. Larry King will strap on his suspenders once more to host an online-only TV show on a new network financed by Carlos Slim Helu, the New York Times reports. The new network, which will be called Ora.tv, will be officially announced today. King says the show will be a lot like Larry King Live. "I run into people everyday who tell me they miss the show. And a lot of times, I miss it too," the 78-year-old says.
King's wife, Shawn, will also likely do a show on style and interview celebrities, he says. The network will be headed by former News Corp. executive Jon Housman, and will be financed exclusively by America Movil, a Latin American wireless company owned by Slim. It will serve as a way for Slim to break into the Mexican pay-TV market, which government officials have so far prevented him from doing. (Read more Larry King stories.)
