ESPN apologized today for some badly chosen words in the wake of Jeremy Lin's first loss as a New York Knick: A headline on its mobile site read "Chink in the armor" for about a half-hour before getting yanked, reports Outsports.com. A network statement called the headline "offensive" and promised a "complete review" of how it came to be. It didn't say whether the double entendre was intentional, but concluded, "We regret and apologize for this mistake." (Read more Jeremy Lin stories.)
