Two different Flyers netted three goals each as Philadelphia steam-rolled Pittsburgh 8-2. Joffrey Lupul had three assists to go along with his hat trick, while his teammate R.J. Umberger only notched two assists to accompany his trio of tallies. Sidney Crosby had assists on both goals for the Penguins, who saw their four-game winning streak snapped by their divisional rival, reports the AP.

The Flyers scored less than two minutes into the game but the Penguins tied it at 2-2 by the first intermission. That score wouldn’t last, though, as Philadelphia registered three unanswered goals in the second. The Penguins pulled goaltender Dany Sabourin after that period, but his replacement, Ty Conklin, didn’t fare much better, as he allowed three goals in the third. (More hockey stories.)
