A 26-year-old mother was arrested last night after allegedly abandoning her two little girls on a Brooklyn street, the New York Post reports. Dominae, 5, and Dioni, 3, were found yesterday afternoon wandering near a busy intersection, dressed in coats and UGG boots and holding extra diapers. "Mommy just left us on the sidewalk and drove away," Dominae told a New York Daily News photographer.

An elderly couple found the girls, who were not crying but seemed confused, and called 911. "They were wandering up and down the sidewalk for a while, just playing by themselves," says one witness. Dalisha Adams has been charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, and the girls are in the custody of the Administration for Children's Services. (Read more abandonment stories.)
