(AP Photo/Josh Edelson) The gunman who opened fire on motorists in Hollywood on Friday had recently broken up with his girlfriend and was taking pharmaceutical drugs, the Los Angeles Times reports. The former girlfriend of Tyler Brehm, 26, says he was "really stressed out" and unemployed after moving to LA about a month ago. Alicia Alligood, 24, adds that it was unusual for Brehm to take drugs, which made him a different person, according to the Hollywood Reporter. "He was very anti-pharmaceutical," she says. He was also a "humanitarian" who wanted to "change the world for the better." Brehm, who was helping a friend with a non-profit organization, listed interests on his now-defunct Facebook page including family, money, success, friendship, and "things that go fast." He had changed his status to "single" only 4 days ago. The music executive who Brehm shot three times in the face and neck remains in critical condition.
