Powered by a dominant performance on the offensive glass, No. 9 Michigan State overcame a poor shooting night by Drew Neitzel and defeated Bradley 66-61. Michigan State out-rebounded Bradley 48-29, including 21 offensive rebounds leading to 20 second-chance points.  Michigan State now travels to Salt Lake City to take on No. 20 Brigham Young. Elsewhere in men's college basketball:


  • Tyler Hansbrough recorded his third consecutive double-double as No. 1 North Carolina easily handled Penn, 106-71. 
  • Led By Chris Lofton's 16 points, 10th-ranked Tennessee managed to hold off Chattanooga 76-70.
