Redheaded men seeking a quick $500 best not turn to the Cryos sperm bank: It's full-up with carrot top donors and is turning them away. "There are too many redheads in relation to demand," director Ole Schou tells the Telegraph. Only women who have an infertile redhead boyfriend or who prefer redheads want the stuff, and "that's perhaps not so many, especially in the latter case," Schou says. Ireland is the one exception; redhead sperm sells “like hot cakes" there.

Donors with brown eyes and brown hair are highly prized because of the bank's many customers in Greece, Italy, and Spain. One hard-to-come-by sperm variety is Indian, because India forbids the exportation of eggs or sperm—which leaves international Indian customers in the lurch. (More sperm bank stories.)
