ESPN Yanks Anti-Jewish Fantasy Football Names
ESPN is yanking anti-Jewish names from its fantasy leagues.   (Shuttershock)

ESPN is cracking down on anti-Semitism. Of late, a gaggle of bigoted fantasy football enthusiasts have been creating league names like "Jews are Immoral" and "Jews are terrible". In response, ESPN expelled from the online community all such anti-Semitic designations, USA Today reports.

ESPN was made aware of the racist trend by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which praised the quick response. An ESPN spokesman made clear that "hate speech like the examples discussed here have no place on our site," but conceded that "with millions of users and deceptive ways around the safeguards, we can never completely eliminate it."
