A cyclist who suffered a broken neck, punctured lung, and smashed pelvis when he collided with a car months ago is back on his feet today after an amazing recovery, reports the Telegraph. At one point, when 22-year-old Aaron Denham was in a coma, doctors even considered turning off his life support and family members were considering what songs to play at his funeral.

"They thought he would not make it through the night so we stayed by his side," said Aaron's mother. Doctors were also worried that even if Aaron did recover, he could be paralyzed for life, but today he is able to walk unaided. "The doctors said it was 'miraculous,'" explained his mother. "They think he could be back home in three or four months which is amazing considering all his injuries and considering we so nearly lost him." (More accident stories.)
