Can we call it "getting Weinered"? Yes, another politician has been brought low by snapshots of his junk, and, as if to prove that even the little guys can have sex scandals, this time the embarrassed party is Lou Magazzu, a member of the Cumberland County Freeholder Board, the News of Cumberland County reports. Magazzu sent a series of nude photos of himself to a woman who was not his wife—and she passed them to his political arch-nemesis, Republican activist Carl Johnson.
Johnson, of course, released everything to the media, prompting Magazzu’s resignation yesterday. “A woman who I have never met personally, but have corresponded with on the Internet for several years, has recently shared some photographs which she requested and that were intended only for her eyes,” Magazzu admitted. “I did not know that she was working with an avowed political enemy.” Magazzu has been separated from his wife for two years, but the pictures, emails, and text messages date back to 2008. He’s consulting a lawyer to see if Johnson broke any laws. (More Lou Magazzu stories.)
