Cops: Florida Teen Tyler Hadley Killed Parents Before Throwing Party
The bodies of Blake Hadley, 54, and Mary Jo Hadley, 47, were found in the home's master bedroom.   (Port St. Lucie Police)

A Florida teen killed his parents with a hammer and stashed their bodies in a bedroom before hosting a wild house party for dozens of friends, police say. Tyler Hadley, 17, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after police acting on an anonymous tip-off arrived at the house and found the bodies, ABC News reports.

The party had broken up by the time police arrived, and the teen seemed "nervous and panicky," claiming his parents were out of town, investigators say. Up to 60 teens attended the party, which Hadley apparently advertised on Facebook before killing his parents, reports the Broward Palm-Beach New Times. (More crime stories.)
