Sarah Ferguson: Royal Wedding Invitation Snub by Prince William, Kate Middleton Was 'Difficult'

Sarah Ferguson says it was "difficult" not to be invited to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. During an interview with Oprah Winfrey set to air tomorrow, Ferguson says she wanted to be with her daughters, who attended the wedding with their father and Ferguson's former husband, Prince Andrew. But don't feel too bad for poor Fergie; she tells Oprah she spent the royal wedding weekend in ... Thailand. Ferguson still had good things to say about the couple—she said Prince William's mother, the late Princess Diana, "would be so proud of her son."

As for why the Duchess of York didn't make the royal wedding invite list? Selling media access to her ex for $724,000 probably didn't help. (More Sarah Ferguson stories.)
