British budget carrier EasyJet is under fire for its heavy-handed treatment of passengers who found themselves on a plane that was too loaded to take off. The flight from Birmingham to Geneva had been filled with 10 tons too much fuel, so 37 passengers were asked to leave the plane. When only a few volunteered, the last 30 to check in were told to get off or be arrested, the Telegraph reports. When the remaining passengers got to Geneva, they were told their luggage had also been removed to lighten the load and was still in England. Some didn't get their bags for 5 days. Officials are investigating.
