Rep. Darrell Issa is coming in like a lion—and intends to go out like one, too. The incoming chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee didn't mince words today on CNN's State of the Union, calling Obama's administration "one of the most corrupt administrations" (stepping back from a comment he made on Rush Limbaugh's show in which he called Obama "one of the most corrupt presidents") and predicting that the investigations he plans to carry out over the next two years could save US taxpayers as much as $200 billion, reports the Washington Post.

When asked on Fox News Sunday about reports that the White House is beefing up its team of lawyers in preparation for his oversight hearings, Issa replied, "They're going to need more accountants." He also took on Attorney General Eric Holder over his handling of WikiLeaks and Julian Assange. "If the president says, 'I can't deal with this guy as a terrorist,' then he has to be able to deal with him as a criminal," said Issa. "Otherwise, the world is laughing at this paper tiger we've become. "He's hurting this administration," said Issa of Holder. "If you're hurting the administration, either stop hurting the administration or leave."
