Jon Stewart and his team have a message for John McCain: It gets worse. The Daily Show correspondents (with special guest Sean Hayes) delivered a very special PSA to McCain with that message last night, warning him that if he continues to fight Don't Ask, Don't Tell, someday he'll be featured as the villain in the documentary about the movement—20 years from now, when gays are openly serving in the military.
Of course, the PSA (a spoof of the "It Gets Better" campaign) came after Stewart delivered an impressive takedown of McCain's ever-changing views on the policy: First he wanted military leadership to agree to change the policy (they did), then he wanted a study done (it was), then he decided he didn't like that study. As for his wife, who recently filmed and then reneged a message against DADT, "she, while supporting the NOH8 campaign, also stands by her husband's stance on Don't Ask, Don't Tell. She's against what Don't Ask, Don't Tell does, but she's for Don't Ask, Don't Tell," Stewart summed up. "Boy, no wonder they have so many houses, they need them to keep all their different beliefs in."
