A police swat team has rescued a 13-year-old girl found bound and gagged in the home of an Ohio man suspected in the disappearance of her family. "We did not want to give him time to harm her, so we used a tactical team," said a police spokesman. "We were hopeful of finding more than one" of the missing people in the house, he added. Sarah Maynard was found about 10 miles from her Mt. Vernon home, but there was no sign of mom Tina Herrmann, 10-year-old brother Kody, or family friend Stephanie Sprang who vanished with the teen last week, reports CNN.

Matthew Hoffman, 30, has so far been charged with one count of kidnapping in the case. A neighbor described Hoffman as a "weirdo" who liked to spy on her and her daughter. Maynard has been treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. When her mom failed to show up for work at a Dairy Queen last week, her manager arrived at her home and found "an unusual amount of blood," reports ABC News. Sarah's divorced dad said: "I am expecting the worst, hoping for the best." Click here for more.
