Palin Taunts Wall Street Journal Reporter

Sarah Palin is the first to admit that Americans are "inordinately interested" in her reading habits, so here's a little clarification: She reads the Wall Street Journal. But, she writes on Facebook, one Journal reporter doesn't seem to do the same. The media clash began yesterday, when Sudeep Reddy criticized comments she made about the rising cost of groceries; he wrote, in the Journal, "Grocery prices haven’t risen all that significantly, in fact."

"That’s odd," retorts Palin, "because just last Thursday, November 4, I read an article in Mr. Reddy’s own Wall Street Journal titled 'Food Sellers Grit Teeth, Raise Prices,'" which basically said exactly that. "Now I realize I’m just a former governor and current housewife from Alaska, but even humble folks like me can read the newspaper. I’m surprised a prestigious reporter for the Wall Street Journal doesn’t." Snap. (More Sarah Palin stories.)
