(AP Photo) A sprawling NASA research center next to Cleveland's airport is under lockdown amid reports of a possible gunman. NASA Glenn Research Center spokeswoman Sally Harrington wouldn't say whether police were checking for a gunman but she says the complex was placed under "complete lockdown" this morning. The center is located at the edge of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport along the Cleveland-Brook Park border. Brook Park police withheld details on how they were handling the situation; Cleveland police say they aren't involved. The research center has more than 3,400 employees and contract workers. An airport spokewoman says its operations are unaffected. (More NASA stories.) Report an error
