With the goal, oddly, of getting revenge on Borat

Seems like everyone loved Sacha Baron Cohen’s fictional Kazakh character Borat … except the actual people of Kazakhstan, whom the Borat movie made into a punchline. Four years after Cohen’s film, Kazakhstan is getting its revenge—via an unauthorized sequel. My Brother, Borat is about an American who is taken on a sure-to-be-flattering tour of Kazakhstan by Borat’s brother, Bilo, Cinema Blend reports.

Don’t expect it to be as funny as its predecessor—the director says it won’t contain any “obscene humor,” and its goal seems to be to show everyone how modern “the real Kazakhstan” is—“the streets, the skyscrapers, the parks.” Another goal seems to be to get 20th Century Fox to sue over the whole thing, since that would gain publicity for the film. “Hollywood, 20th Century Fox, and Borat—I’ll eat them alive,” the director says. “Get ready, Borat.”
