Billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch and their secretive network of wealthy Republican donors are planning a meeting first thing next year to forge their strategy for the 2012 elections. The bros—who finance libertarian causes and are accused of secretly funding the Tea Party movement, though David denies it—have invited new members to join their network of the ultra-rich and well-connected at the Palm Springs meeting, the New York Times reports.

The agenda, the invites state, is to find ways to combat "climate change alarmism and the move to socialized health care,” as well as “the regulatory assault on energy." Charles Koch, worth an estimated $21.5 billion, warns that "prosperity is under attack by the current administration and many of our elected officials." Participants are urged to keep all details of the meeting strictly confidential. "Our ultimate goal is not ‘fun in the sun,’" Koch writes. “This is a gathering of doers who are willing to engage in the hard work necessary to advance our shared principles."
