Meet the Looney Twilight Hand Model
Kimbra Hickey would be more than happy to sign this for you.   (Amazon.com)

So you're waiting in line to pay for your copy of Twilight when you're accosted by a woman who wants to give you her autograph. Don't worry, it's probably just Kimbra Hickey, the model whose hands are now famous thanks to their appearance on the cover of the teen book phenomenon. Even so, "nobody knew who I was," she tells the New York Post ... so now Hickey makes it a point to tell everyone who she is.

Everyone reading Twilight, at least. In addition to hanging near the cash registers at her local Barnes & Noble, the New Yorker also sells apple-scented lotion at Twilight conventions and stops anyone she sees reading the book to let them know. "I see people reading it on the subway, and I say, 'Those are my hands! I'm a hand model!'" she says. "I'm sure they think I'm crazy—a crazy lady on the subway." She even carries a Gala apple around sometimes, in case fans want her to recreate the now-iconic pose ... for which she was paid only $300.
