Fifty years ago, the culturally iconic cartoon The Flintstones debuted on ABC. Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty inhabited the fictional town of Bedrock in 10,000 BC in an equally fictional world inhabited simultaneously by humans and dinosaurs.
