Sarai Sierra's family says the murdered New York mom was in Turkey on a photography vacation, but FBI agents say they think she was doing more than just taking a few innocent pictures. "The first people she met up with were a criminal element," a source close to the investigation tells the New York Post, adding that witnesses reported seeing Sierra with "sketchy characters." FBI agents are in Turkey now, and are looking into possible drug trafficking connections.

Investigators don't think they're getting the whole story from Sierra's relatives, though they are cooperating with the investigation. "Being cooperative and being helpful are two different things," points out a source. A Turkey newspaper reported that investigators are also looking at a group of unofficial tour guides who have been known to harass tourists, the New York Daily News reports; Sierra was reportedly seen with them twice. Sierra's body will be flown back to the US tomorrow. (More Sarai Sierra stories.)
