Willie Nelson Chops Off His Braids

Willie Nelson will have to settle for being known for just his music these days (and, well, the substance he imbibes to keep the vibe mellow): He's gone and chopped off his hallmark braids. The waist-length, reddish pigtails were cut a few weeks ago, said the singer-songwriter's rep, who added that he didn't make a big to-do about the change. "There's a lot of maintenance," she said. Fans are more distraught, notes the AP: "Oh Noooooo!" wrote one.
