The value of Caitlin Clark's endorsement deals is about to get a big bump. The No. 1 WNBA draft pick is close to signing an endorsement deal with Nike "worth well over $20 million plus potential bonuses," sources tell the Athletic. Under Armour and Adidas have also reportedly made "sizeable offers" to the new Indiana Fever player. But Nike has a history with the basketball star through a previous endorsement deal when Clark played for the University of Iowa. That deal, signed in 2022, ended with the college basketball season, meaning Clark "hit the market at the peak of her popularity," per the Athletic.

Nike is reportedly offering up a signature shoe as part of its deal, while Under Armour brought star power to its meeting with Clark in the form of Stephen Curry, who launched his Curry Brand with Under Armour last year. The battle over Clark shows just how in-demand she is. She's credited with boosting viewership of the women's NCAA Tournament and WNBA Draft to record highs. Fanatics said her jersey was the top seller for any draft pick on draft night in company history. Clark is now "expected to land one of the most lucrative sneaker deals in the WNBA," per the Athletic. Last year, Nike signed New York Liberty's Sabrina Ionescu to a $24 million deal including a signature shoe, per Fox Business. (More Caitlin Clark stories.)
